This is our "picture rock." We've taken family pictures on this rock ever since we moved into our house nearly 27 years ago. Mom has sold the house, and is in the process of packing in preparation for the big move. We're all sad to see the house go, but know that it's going to be a good move for mom. So here's my latest "family portrait" on the Picture Rock.

This is from the other side of the rock. Though mom doesn't remember that we've ever taken pictures from this angle, I know better. I just spent the last month meticulously going through all of our family slides: organizing, trimming down, organizing, trimming down, organizing and trimming down. One of my favorite groups of pictures was taken on this rock from this direction. I offered to bet mom $5, $10, or $1,000 that I was right...but she backed down. Whatever.
